Kidcrash – Snacks

This is the first album I heard from Kidcrash. They actually released a few albums before this, which is almost the same sound except for the “New Ruins” which was more pop-punk to me. This however, feels a lot more honest. I really like this because every time this shuffles on my ipod, they’re like a young Thrice to me, combined it with TOE’s sweet licks with distortion. They sound hardcore in most part, sometimes they are absolutely chaotic. They have interesting guitar riffs that are counter-punctual melodies, unpredictable song structures and syncopated rhythms. Overall, Kidcrash – Snacks definitely is something that I have never heard before
