Kidcrash – Snacks

This is the first album I heard from Kidcrash. They actually released a few albums before this, which is almost the same sound except for the “New Ruins” which was more pop-punk to me. This however, feels a lot more honest. I really like this because every time this shuffles on my ipod, they’re like a young Thrice to me and mix it with TOE’s sweet licks with distortion. They sound hardcore in most part, sometimes they are absolutely chaotic. They have interesting guitar riffs that are counter-punctual melodies, unpredictable song structures and syncopated rhythms. Overall, Kidcrash – Snacks definitely is something that I have never heard before

Castevet – Summer Fences

This will smash all the baby crying emo bullshit bands out there. Amazing band!! This album blown me away!! We’re talking of large instrumental post rock parts, the beauty of This will destroy you moments, mix with punk rock avail vocals from time to time, resulted into a real intelligent punk band Castevet that emerged beneath the surface of the underground. This album is damn good. Will be one of the best music I heard for this year. This album take you outside of your limits. Unfamiliar but not too much to scare you back unto the subway of normalcy.
